ABOUT THAO KILBEE
Thao Kilbee is a Belgian contemporary artist exploring transformation through shadow and light.
Through sculpture, she creates symbolic worlds where vulnerability and strength coexist. Using contrast and symbolism, she transforms themes of pain, memory and spiritual rebellion into visual experiences of awakening.
Drawing from a multidisciplinary international background, Thao has contributed to United Nations initiatives through legal advocacy, public speaking, directed social impact campaigns for refugees, education, and public health, worked internationally as a model for brands including L'Oréal, and performed at La Monnaie Opera House in Brussels.
Recipient of a European Women's Leadership Award in 2022, she brings to her work a unique perspective on justice, resilience, identity and transformation.
